Cross-border asset tracing, sanctions and export-control investigations, and counterparty intelligence, delivered as a finished written assessment with every source shown.
Many financial-crime matters are too big for a database screen and too small for a global investigations firm. We join up on-chain flows, corporate ownership, sanctions lists, trade and vessel data into one tested answer that a lawyer, an underwriter or a deal team can act on.
Amon Sûl Labs is an independent intelligence consultancy. We combine blockchain-forensic, illicit-finance and trade-investigation expertise to investigate the people, companies, payments and goods behind a risk.
We take sensitive and adversarial mandates, so we do not publish client names, matter details or the identities of the analysts who work on them. Law firms and institutional clients can request a confidential capability briefing under NDA. Named expert evidence is available for contentious matters.
We are a consultancy, not a data vendor. We do not sell software licences or API seats. Our collection and analysis are automated, and every finding is reviewed and signed off by an analyst before it reaches a client.
// Two divisionsASL Intelligence is our investigations practice. The ASL Defence Suite is our technology service for detecting and documenting coordinated information attacks. Both are described below.
// Cross-border by designWe work across jurisdictions, with particular depth in the registries and corporate structures of Central and Eastern Europe.
// Built for scrutinyOur clients' next step is often legal, regulatory or arbitral. We record the provenance of every source from the outset, not as a final formatting step.
Amon Sûl Labs works through two divisions: an investigations practice and a technology service.
Investigations into companies, transactions and the people connected with them, carried out for a client's own decision, claim or compliance obligation.
We follow funds across chains, bridges, OTC desks and exchanges to the point where a court order, an exchange disclosure request or a recovery strategy can act on them. On-chain evidence is joined to corporate ownership across UK, EU and offshore registries.
Solicitors, insolvency practitioners and liquidators, fraud victims' counsel, arbitration legal teams.
We examine the suppliers, distributors, end users and payment routes in a client's own transaction or supply chain: shell layers, nominee officers, transshipment points and settlement rails. Ownership chains are checked against UK, EU and US (OFAC) designations, with particular attention to dual-use goods such as microelectronics and drone components.
Exporters and manufacturers of controlled goods, their counsel, and compliance teams facing an alert they can't resolve from a screening hit.
Red-flag investigations on a target, supplier, contractor or counterparty before money moves. We combine beneficial ownership, sanctions exposure, litigation and adverse-media history, trade footprint and, where relevant, on-chain history.
Investors, lenders, family offices, procurement and compliance teams.
We assess the vessels, owners and cargo flows behind a bind, a charter or a trade-finance decision. Vessel history and AIS behaviour are connected to ownership, flag and payment evidence. Each assessment is prepared for a specific decision, not as a live feed.
Marine and war-risk underwriters, P&I clubs, charterers and trade-finance teams.
A two-page assessment: what the evidence shows, what it would take to go further, and our recommendation. It tells you whether a full investigation is worth commissioning.
A written report with an evidence register, network map, findings, stated limitations and a decision recommendation. Fixed-fee where the scope allows.
A report prepared for proceedings, to the standard expected of expert evidence, with support through disclosure and hearing.
Software and analyst review for detecting, assessing and documenting coordinated information attacks against an organisation, its people or its brand. It is currently offered as analyst-led pilot engagements on data you supply, not as self-service software.
Coordination analysis looks for groups of accounts that reshare the same content in tight, repeated time windows, and puts each candidate group in a review queue with its evidence. Provenance checks read an image's hashes, metadata and any content credentials (C2PA) and record what they find. Results are leads for analyst review, not verdicts.
Communications, crisis, trust-and-safety and legal teams that can export platform data including timed reshares (retweets, reposts or boosts).
The workflow layer behind Signal: case records, an append-only audit trail, two-person review for high-risk outputs, and versioned briefings, so every conclusion can be traced to its source records and the analyst decisions behind it.
In design with pilot users. Not yet available as a hosted product.
Every deliverable is built so that a sceptical reader, whether opposing counsel, an auditor or a regulator, can check it.
We collect only from lawfully accessible sources: public corporate registries, court and regulatory filings, sanctions lists, licensed data, public blockchain records and open-source material. Every item is timestamped, attributed to its source and preserved as collected.
Collection and scoring are automated and versioned, so the same inputs give the same result. Every claim is tagged as a source fact, an analyst inference or a hypothesis, and each finding is tested against its innocent explanation. An analyst reviews and signs off every finding.
Reports are prepared to the standard expected of expert evidence. They include an evidence register, a methodology appendix, source citations and stated limitations. If a check could not be completed, we say so rather than report "nothing found".
Most providers cover one layer, such as on-chain, registry or vessel data, and leave the joining-up to the client. We put the layers into one picture and show where they disagree.
We keep each client's information compartmentalised and never publicise a client's matter. Engagements are covered by mutual NDA.
An overall conclusion is only as strong as its weakest essential input. We are as clear about what we don't know as about what we do.
We are not tied to any data vendor. We cross-check commercial attributions against the public record and tell you where providers disagree.
We work within the law and for lawful purposes only. Every prospective client is vetted, and we turn down mandates we cannot take on cleanly.
Automation lets us scope fixed-fee work that would be uneconomic for a large firm, starting with a 72-hour triage.
Anonymised case studies covering digital-asset tracing, export-control exposure in component supply chains, and counterparty due diligence are in preparation. Public versions will carry no names, wallets or vessel identifiers. Fuller methodology samples are available to verified law firms and institutions on request, under NDA.REQUEST A SAMPLE
To discuss a matter, request a capability briefing or ask about an ASL Defence Suite pilot, email us. Please do not send case documents in your first message. We run a conflict check first, then agree a mutual NDA before any detail is shared.
amonsullabs@protonmail.comBefore accepting a mandate, Amon Sûl Labs screens for conflicts of interest and vets the prospective client and the purpose of the work. We do not accept mandates where an existing client relationship, a legal restriction or the purpose of the work would compromise the engagement.
Nothing on this website is a solicitation for business in any jurisdiction where such solicitation would be unlawful. Engagement is subject to a conflict check and a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Amon Sûl Labs investigates companies, transactions and the people connected with them. This involves processing personal data, such as the names and roles of company officers and beneficial owners, drawn from public registers, court records, sanctions lists, licensed databases and public blockchain records.
We process this data only for specific client matters with a lawful purpose, such as preventing and detecting fraud, supporting legal claims, and meeting sanctions and financial-crime obligations. We do so in line with applicable data protection law. We collect information only by lawful means. We keep it no longer than the matter and our legal obligations require, and we protect it with appropriate security.
If you believe we hold information about you, you can contact us at amonsullabs@protonmail.com. Some rights may be limited where exercising them would prejudice the prevention or detection of crime or legal proceedings.

All collection is carried out by lawful means. We do not access systems or accounts without authorisation, and we do not obtain information by deception.
